Final Film Idea

My final idea(s) was inspired by a series of imges I created through my AS Photography course.

The idea behind these images was insecurities,pain, relief and stereotypes, I felt that this could inspire my film idea as I wanted it to be around the same sort of theme ideas.

For my short film I will be creating a documentary drama type film dealing with sensitive and emotional issues that are rapidly growing in society today.

I will be dealing with, insecurieties wihin body image and how the media can be a huge factor of this, resulting in eating disorders and in many cases death, this will be explored through depression as well as the eating disorder.

If I am to use the theme death it would be towards the end in which I portray the image of someone who has lost all hope, lost themselves as well as faith and belief, Iwill also then show signs of relief once the character has died. Through my short film you will be able to see how the media can be a big impact on someones life, its almost as if the media is holding everyones life in the palm of its hands.

This image has been the most influential within my final idea, i came across this image on tumbr and looking at it so many emotions and themes came to my head. This image can show how society today blinds girls epsecially from a young age, makimg them believe you have to be skinny and true beauty is skinny, when in reality that is not the case. I feel this image gets the exact same message across in which i hope my film would.
